There is one thing I don't understand, Why do they use such big cars for cabs?
I understand that there are many tourists and some of them carry luggage, but 100% of them?? Those giant yellow cars take so much space on the roads, they drive like they were in a race and they all together contribute to the air pollution.
In order to make Manhattan a better, cleaner and less crowded place, I suggest to replace 50% of them with smaller cars. This way it will be much safer to drive, less crowded and more friendly to the environment.
Not everything should be BIG in America...

I think your suggestion for a smaller version of a taxi cab will not survive in the streets of New York. As you have mentioned, drivers in the City are somewhat reckless,It will probably crash by buses, trucks, and bigger cars. Also, no offense, I think the car looks ugly.

Hehe, that's what I found at that moment, but there are so many pretty tiny cars that could fit.
i think accidents will remain the same as long as they won't change the way they drive, which is part of my plan too.
